The Effect of a Creative Dance Program on Disruptive Behavior in Primary School Girls
The study aims to design an educational program using creative dance and examine its impact on reducing disruptive behavior among fifth-grade primary school girls.
The researchers applied the disruptive behavior scale to the entire research population to identify students scoring the highest on the scale. This took place from Monday, February 13, 2023, to Sunday, February 19, 2023. The process involved the researchers, classroom teachers, and parents (mothers) who helped answer the scale. Afterward, the completed scales were collected, and incomplete scales (10 in total) were excluded. This left 150 fully completed scales, which were corrected and ranked in descending order.
The research sample was deliberately chosen from students with the highest scores on the disruptive behavior scale. A total of 60 students were identified, and 40 of them were randomly divided into two equal groups: an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 20 students. The primary tool for data collection was the disruptive behavior scale.
Key Findings
The creative dance program had a positive impact on reducing disruptive behavior among the fifth-grade primary school girls under study.
