The research aims to design a mathematical counseling program and know its effect on the psychological unit for children in residential institutions in Minya city, and the two researchers used the experimental method using the experimental design of one group, and the research community included (65) children and girl from the children of housing institutions in Minya city, and the research sample was chosen by the intentional method From the research community, it consists of (37) children from the age group 9-15 years, and the two researchers used the Psychological Unit Scale Russell, (1996) Arabization of Magdy El Desouki (1996), a mathematical extension program prepared by the two researchers, and one of the most important results that the researchers reached was that There are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of pre and post measurement for children in residential institutions in Minya city on the total of the psychological unit scale, where the value of (T) reached (6.32 **), and these differences are in the direction of the average degrees of post-measurement, and this means that these differences are real and not Due to chance.
