Summary of the research: Research aims at knowing the relation ship between the control coach behaviour and the psychological basic needs thwarting of football players in minia governorate. The two researchers used the descriptive method as it is suitable for this kind of research. The research involved the football players in minia who are members in the Egyptian football Association in the season 2020/2021. They are (287) players. The two researchers chose (130) players to be the targeted persons for the research at percent of (45.29%). The researchers used control coach behaviour scale as wellas psychological basic needs thwarting scale. On adopting thiese on the targeted persons, the most importand findings showed that there is a strong negative static relationship between the controlling use of rewards, need thwarting – autonomy and need thwarting-Competence. There is also a non-static relationship between negative conditional regard and excessive personal control, as well as between need thwarting – autonomy and need thwarting relatedness. There has been also a non-static relationship with need thwarting – competence. There is a relationship with intimidation, need thwarting-autonomy and need thwarting relatedness. There is also a negative relationship with need thwarting. Competence for the targeted persons. The most important recommendations were to study the relationship between the control coach behaviour with the other psychological changes on other different groups of players. We also assure the importance of considering the psychological needs of the players.
